REGULAR MEETING

April 11, 2012

7:00 P.M.

i. Meeting called to order by Supervisor Rosser.

ii. Members present: Payne, Rosser, Houston and Peterson.  Members absent: Mackey

    Others present:  area residents, Assessor Molly Whetstone, Marcus Peccia, acting fire chief Randy Norman and several members from the CLT DDA.

iii. The meeting was opened with the pledge to the American flag and to a brief public comment.

iv. Minutes of the March regular meeting were approved as presented.  All in favor

v. Motion by Houston, seconded by Payne, to approve agenda as amended. All in favor.

vi. Marcus Peccia from the city presented a sewer proposal to the board members

vii. Unfinished business

a.      Motion by Houston, seconded by Payne, to support the CLT DDA with their proposal of a walking/biking trail from E 44½ Road to S. Mitchell Street.   All in favor. Carried.

b.      Motion by Houston,  seconded by Payne, to appoint Twp. Supervisor and chair of the DDA Sewer committee to begin meeting with both the city and Haring Twp. Utilities committee to pursue one of the entities as a partner/vendor of sewer and water services to Clam Lake Twp. potential sewer and water district.  All in favor. Carried

viii. New Business

a Motion by Houston, seconded by Peterson to send Treasurer Larry Payne to Lansing for training for the .Net tax software. All in favor. Carried

b. Motion by Houston, seconded by Peterson, to purchase .Net software for the treasure and clerk .  

Roll call vote. All in favor. Carried

c. Motion by  Houston, seconded by Rosser to pay bills as presented. Roll call vote.

All in favor. Carried

d. Motion by Houston, seconded by Payne, to adjourn.  Meeting adjourned at 9:30
