SPECIAL MEETING

September 19, 2011

5:30 P.M.

i   Special meeting was called to order by Supervisor Rosser.   Meeting was properly noticed and posted in compliance with the State of Michigan Open Meetings Act, P.A. 267 of 1976, as amended

ii. Members present: Rosser, Payne, Houston, and Mackey & Peterson.  Absent: None. Others present: Assessor Molly Whetstone. Members of the Haring Charter Twp. board and 84 area

 residents

ii. This Public hearing was held with Haring Charter Township Board for the purpose of joint public hearings on a proposed Agreement for Conditional Transfer, which would allow the conditional transfer of territory from Clam Lake Township to Haring Charter Township pursuant to Act 425 of the Public Acts of 1984, as amended. 

iii. Motion by Houston, seconded by Mackey to go into a public hearing at 5:33. The public hearing ended at 6:45.

iv. Motion by Houston, seconded by Payne to authorize Clam Lake Township to go into an Act 425 agreement with Haring Twp. Roll call vote. All in favor. 

v.Motion by Mackey, seconded by Payne to adjourn.  Meeting adjourned at 7:00
